Obama DOES NOT deserve a Nobel Prize

Barack Hussein Obama does not deserve a Nobel Peace Prize. Not in a million years, unless he has an St. Augustine-like turnaround. Obama has done absolutely nothing for peace. After reading further information on this, it seems the committee which awarded Obama the peace prize were doing it more to get back at Bush than to actually say anything about Obama. This committee hated Bush with a passion.

There are many reasons why Obama should not receive the Nobel Peace Prize. These include the following (and this is certainly not an exhaustive list):

- he voted against a bill that said if a baby was being aborted in a late term and was born alive, medical care should be given to this baby. Obama voted 3 times to not give such a baby any care, even though he was virtually alone in this.

- Obama wanted to pass a bill which eradicated all abortion laws in the whole country, including every state, such as parental notification, counseling, etc. - he has been recorded as saying
previously during a national prayer breakfast that there is no God that condones the killing of a child, so why the double-talk?

- he bowed down to the leader of Saudi Arabia

- he said the US is not a Christian country (even though 80% of the population is). This was totally unnecessary.

- he covered up Jesus's name when he was speaking at Notre Dame university. It was above him during the speech, and he had a black cloth put over the words IHS (which is a Greek symbol for Christ)

- he says during his campaigning that marriage should be between a man and a woman, but when he's elected he devotes an entire month to LGBTand basically says how everyone oppresses gay people

- he has quadrupled the national deficit, has socialized banks and automobile companies

- he made fun of the Special Olympics

- he said the US has 57 states

- he seems unable to pick an ambassador to the Vatican, because he can't find one person who is pro-life in his cabinet

That's just a brief list. There are many more things.

But the big question is, what HAS he done exactly? Nothing.

  1. You are spot on with this one! At dinner time today (we are three and a half hours ahead of you here so it was probably breakfast time for you)we were listening to the news on Obama & the Peace Prize and we asked the same question. What has he done? You bet I'll keep reading your blog - it is one of the best I have come across. I hope you will take a look at mine, too. Mine is dedicated to the last Welsh martyr, St David Lewis who was a Jesuit priest. This year marks the 330th Anniversary of his martyrdom and he was born, lived, worked and died in the area where I live. God bless.

  2. I'm not saying he deserved it, but why do you feel the need to totally bring him down, Phil? It's slanderous, almost. Anyway, it's not like anything you listed is actually a negative point, unless you see the world through the terrible mindset that you do.

You're not superior because of your religion, it makes you see the world through a narrow, bigoted view. This blog post is a great example of this. Besides, aren't catholics supposed to be all for treating everyone equally? You're not doing a great job at doing this.

    Anyway...

    - he voted against a bill that said if a baby was being aborted in a late term and was born alive, medical care should be given to this baby. Obama voted 3 times to not give such a baby any care, even though he was virtually alone in this.

-- You sure did choose the wording which made this seem as terrible as possible. Good job! What about the life the fetus would've had if it did live? Think of that? Premature birth, born to a mother which didn't want it, just to name a few negative things. Also, what does it matter if he was virtually alone in this? It's his view and he shouldn't change it because the majority of other politician doesn't agree with him. I think it shows to his character that he didn't change his view just because it wasn't popular

    - Obama wanted to pass a bill which eradicated all abortion laws in the whole country, including every state, such as parental notification, counseling, etc. - he has been recorded as saying previously during a national prayer breakfast that there is no God that condones the killing of a child, so why the double-talk?

-- Again, your wording it so it sounds like it's the worst thing ever. It's not "double-talk" at all. Obama just believes, as many people do that an unborn fetus isn't a child.

    - he bowed down to the leader of Saudi Arabia

-- A little thing called respect, it's a great thing to have for your fellow man, regardless of their views. He was appealing to their culture; I'm sure he would do the same thing to the prime mister of Japan.

    - he said the US is not a Christian country (even though 80% of the population is). This was totally unnecessary.

--No, America IS NOT a Christian country. It doesn't matter how much of the population is Christian, which by the way is only 76.1%, you really should stop trying to trick your blog readers. Care to read the documents which were written when America was founded. It is not in fact a Christian country, no matter how many people believe it is. You really should try getting your facts straight BEFORE posting them as fact for your readers. I feel somewhat sorry for your more gullible readers.

    - he covered up Jesus's name when he was speaking at Notre Dame university. It was above him during the speech, and he had a black cloth put over the words IHS (which is a Greek symbol for Christ)

-- What does that matter? Was topic he was speaking on relevant to Jesus? If not, then covering it over does not harm, other than to put people like yourself in a rage.

    - he says during his campaigning that marriage should be between a man and a woman, but when he's elected he devotes an entire month to LGBTand basically says how everyone oppresses gay people

-- How exactly is that wrong? Homosexuals are just as much human as you. Would you be upset if you were being oppressed because of your biological predisposition to be attracted to women? I would like you to answer that question putting religion aside, if at all possible.

    - he has quadrupled the national deficit, has socialized banks and automobile companies

-- He isn't just raising the national deficit for fun, you know. Although some people may not agree with Obama's reasons, he did this for a purpose.

  3. **continuation of above comment**

    - he made fun of the Special Olympics

-- It's called a mistake. Humans are known to make them from time to time. Just something which slipped out of his mouth, he did apologize for it. You left that part out, Phil.

    - he said the US has 57 states

-- Again, a simple mistake. No harm done.

    - he seems unable to pick an ambassador to the Vatican, because he can't find one person who is pro-life in his cabinet

-- Great! No pro-life people in his cabinet. Looks like women's rights are safe for a few years, at least. Anyway, why does it matter if he picks an ambassador to the Vatican? The Vatican should have nothing to do with running America.

Also, do you care to source any of the claims you made?

You're not even American, so Obama's policies hardly even affect you, if at all. It seems like you just want someone to complain about.

  4. Obama won the Nobel for reversing Cheneyism: the policy that America runs the world by military force for its own interests. He restored America to a place of leadership. That work is still not finished after 8 months, but the Nobel is sometimes given to encourage a work in progress.

I just happened upon this blog, and I had to say something. You really should do your research next time before you write an angry blog post. It makes you seem somewhat foolish.

  8. I'm attempting to write a small piece of whether or not Obama deserved to win the Nobel Peace Prize for one of my courses, and I've been seaching for various points of view; thank you for writing an article which is absolutely useless and poorly thought-out.
