Can I ask why you share information from "Church Militant". They have faced consistent rebuke from the hierarchy of the Church, including losing the right to use the word "Catholic" in the diocese it was located in years ago. It is also banned from speaking in Churches in many other diocese.
ReplyDeleteI generally enjoy your commentary; however, I don't think using sources that have shared fairly hateful & uncharitable things about Catholic bishops is appropriate. I don't always agree with the bishops in question, but the Church Militant work is truly disturbing.

ReplyDeleteWith regards to the link, I did view it and there didn't seem to be any issues with it. I do know of the controversy surrounding Church Militant. In this particular case, I felt it was a good video so I posted it. But I definitely see your point of view.
I do think the rhetoric of Church Militant can sometimes be over the top and I believe in presenting the faith in a forceful yet charitable way.
I appreciate your feedback and will definitely keep it in consideration when making future posts.
